Philosophy & me...

hehe...here is a forum post which i wrote on my uni elearning fer the subject Philosophy of Education...do drop some comments if u haf any ya...feel free to tell me in ur point of views wad does da word "philosophy" means to u...hehe....enjoy reading!!!~

Before this, I always believe that the term "Philosophy" is a way of thinking which shape the mind of people from different fields & also a guideline for people to follow...For example, there are Philosophy of Education, which will be mainly followed by educators like teachers, Philosophy of Mathematics, Chinese Philosophy & so on so forth....

But only in today's Mr. Hamdan lesson, then i realised that Philosophy is not only just a "guideline"...is a field of study & also a passion towards something which it includes various kind of areas & thus leading to the formation of knowledge or wisdom & resulting in the action of people...

In addition, i would like to share something which i learned from the lesson today, which is, to be a teacher, we as future teachers-to-be should not only just teach...we should try our best to understand the philosophy of education where we will understand the purpose of teaching, enjoy the process of teaching, love our job of teaching & also try our best to be a good teacher where we put in efforts to understand the need of students...

In conclusion, philosophy is something new & interesting to me...& i look forward to understand more about the philosophy of education. I do sincerely hope that with these new knowledge, it can help me in my way of thinking & broaden my perspective of life. Last but not least, i also hope that through the learning of philosophy, i can understand myself better & do the best i can to fulfil my dream as a good & caring teacher in the future...

When things turn out the way you didn expect them to be, smile because they happened. What is hurting you, not killing you, makes u stronger each day & always take in charge of your own happiness.

Remembering the moments when smiles are understood, tears were wiped & heart was touched. As time passes, only i realised that to have people who treat you nice and take care of you is not difficult. But to be bleesed with people who understand your good and wants you to take good care of yourself is like...ONE in a million. so smile not only on your face but with the fullness of your heart, may happiness be yours too~be blessed!

As we grow up, we learned that many times, decisions we made change our life. Once choices are made, set your mind & go ahead. Don't regret on things that you already done or didn do in the past because somewhere along the way you must have done something right for you ended up with a thankful smile for the things you have now. Look up when you are feeling down, go forward when you are hold back, nothing beats a good fight! It's your life, who will take care of it if you don't~

I left my footprints on the beach, but i cant make them stay forever, wave will take them away. I left my worries to the wind, but i cant make them away forever, wind will bring them back. But when i left a smile in your heart, i wish it can stay there forever because that's where it is understood & appreciated. If it's your hands that let go, then let them be the one to hold back;if it's your heart that says no, then let it be the one to say yes again. We all have too much to bear, too much to carry, but it is ours to face. Life itself has so many stories to tell, maybe all it wants us to do is listen. Let the wind come if you cant stop it. Let the tears roll if you cant hold it & always let your love & smiles be shared if you cant be there for you love ones.

Of all the words that you received, how many of them you remembered? of all the dreams that you had, how many of them you hold on to? of all the people that you loved and loved you, how many of them you really open your heart and share your life with? like the wind, some things in life are unpredictable. But like the sun, you can always choose to shine and warm one's heart. At least I'll remember to keep mine warm.

To look is one thing. To see wad you look is another. To understand what you see is the third. To learn from what you understand is something else. But to act on what you learned is everything. I wont stop looking, I'll keep seeing, I'll try to understand, I'll learn as much as I can and I'll take the actions!

Sometimes we don't haf to change people because we understand that the world changes, people change faster. Just because we argue, it doesn't mean we don't love each other & just because there's tears in our eyes, it doesn't mean we don't feel happy. True friendshop keeps growing even distance came between. Same goes for true love, it's worth waiting.

When something is coming to its end, it always make us think of the beginning of everything. It works the same for feelings & relationships. How it comes & how it goes, always unexpected. Does an ending bring a new beginning? It always does. Forget what makes you feel sad & cry, only keep what makes you smile & laugh. Some people might just see the magic in your eyes but im sure the special ones see them with their hearts.
